Get Old Google Image Search Back in Firefox Permanently without Add-On

I’ve shared 3 ways of how to get old google image search back in Firefox and Chrome so far. Two tips require the use of Greasemonkey scripts while the another one is a manual url tweak. The drawback of the two scripts (one of them doesn’t work anymore) is that they load the new google search interface first before automatically replacing it with the old one. Portable Firefox 4 Download

Firefox 4 final version hasn’t come yet, but it will be released soon. There is only Firefox beta version right now. Judging from the many news about the browser’s development, one can expect that Firefox 4 final version will come with many new features is already here. Tab candy, tab bar on top, new synchronization capabilities, visual overview of all open tabs, supports for HTML5 video “buffered” property, and who knows what will come next. More »

Revert to Old Google Image Search in Firefox & Google Chrome

I’ve posted about how to revert back to old google image search in Firefox and Google Chrome before, but unfortunately the Greasemonkey script doesn’t seem to work anymore. The manual method still works but manually changing the link everytime you start an image search is definitely not comfortable. So, I search for another script that I can use to automatically open google image search in its old user interface. Then I found a perfect one, called Old Google Images. More »

How to Revert Back to Old Google Image Search on Firefox & Chrome

The main reason I dislike the new Google Image Search interface is that my favorite Firefox plugin to open the images in one click is no longer working. Another reason, I can’t jump directly to a certain search page, e.g. page 10 or page 5. Personally, in short, I don’t feel comfortable at all with the new interface, so I decide to look for a way how to revert back to the old google image search interface. More »
