Change Windows 7 Start Orb with Win7 Start Orb Loader

While there are many free tools to change Windows 7 start orb, most of them modify the explorer.exe which can potentially corrupt the file. Win7 Start Orb Loader is the start orb changer that leaves explorer.exe untouched.

Changing the default start orb can be done by first navigating the program to your orb collection. For easy access, you can place all your orb images into one folder. Next, enable the start orb loader (requires administrative right) and start choosing an orb from your collection. You can choose different start orb for each user.

The “View your start orb” panel is where you can preview a selected orb. “Aero View” is another preview feature that lets you view selected orb on an aero-transparent window.

How to change start orb with the program:

1. Run the program.
2. Mark off the “Enable start orb loader”.
3. Click [Browse] button to go to the folder where your orb collection resides.
4. Select a start orb and click [Save changes] button. The default start orb will be changed on next logon.

If you enable the shell integration, you can access the program easily through the desktop context-menu.
